REV's modular two-day course is split a month apart, giving you the opportunity to use those fundamental skills from Public Speaking Power I at work and then take it to the next level Public Speaking Power II.  Come to both parts or choose the one that fits your schedule!
Public Speaking Power I
You already know how important the basics are and yet how often do you refresh yourself with the essentials of public speaking.  This is your chance to polish the fundamentals techniques to perfection.  See the outline for Public Speaking Power I here.
 
Public Speaking Power II
What's the difference between amateurs and professionals?  What's the difference between followers and leaders?  Discover the secrets to distinguish yourself with your own style and leave a powerfully memorable impression on your audience.  See the outline for Public Speaking Power II here.
 
With intensive guided practice of the latest NLP theories, Public Speaking Power is focused on simplicity, practicality and effectiveness.  
 
Simplicity: Watch yourself on the before-and-after DVD to see the subtle mistakes you've made in the past and the amazing improvements you will discover from the training.

Topic 1: Preparing
o Why do you present? INFLUENCE, MOTIVATE, and PERSAUDE (IMP)
o How to organize your presentations logically and effectively
o Turning negative self-talk into positive self-talk
o How to get into a peak state of confidence
o How to make an impact from the first impression

Topic 2: Performing
o The key elements of non-verbal communication (gestures, movement, tone of voice)
o How to organize ideas quickly & coherently
o Common mistakes youll overcome
o How to destroy your robot voice and use your voice so your audience hangs on your every word

Topic 3: Think on your Feet
o Answering tough questions from the audience
o How to think on your feet and say the right thing with confidence
o How to use the Position-Reason- Examples-Position (PREP) model to always have something useful to say

Topic 1: No PPT? NO PROBLEM!

o KISS technique for designing your PPT
o Using other sensory aids to enhance your messaage with the audience

Topic 2: Secrets of Professionals Speakers
o How to speedread your audience so you can INFLUENCE, MOTIVATE and PERSUADE (IMP) like a professional
o Influence with RAPPORT, the unconscious connections between you and your audience
o To learn how to IMP another persons unconscious mind, and bypass the logical and critical thinking conscious mind.
o STORYTELLING to persuade: selling and pitching your ideas to the audience

Topic 3: Putting it all together
o Combining and using all the tools learned in comphrensive practice sessions
o What does the brain remember? What senses evoke greater emotional states among the audience? Using all 5 senses to connect with the audience
o Handling objections with grace, and turning a tough audience member into your biggest fan

Public Speaking Power's Jeff Tan

Jeff Tan is a Peak Performance Coach, Trainer and Motivational Speaker, who's been featured in several publications, such as That's Shanghai, Business Forum China and BizShanghai. He once served in the Republic of Singapore Air Force as a Squadron Commander, Chief Flight Instructor and Head of Flying Training, but has now made it his aim in life to inspire and influence others to live a life of excellence filled with joy and passion.

Jeff is a licensed Trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, having received his certification straight from Dr Richard Bandler, the founder of NLP. He also holds a Master of Social Science degree in Counseling from the University of South Australia, and is a professional Clinical Hypnotherapist. Jeff successfully coached Chen Zhang through many rounds of competition with the best of the best speakers in China, until he became the 2009 Champion of Public Speaking.
